So i decided to walk from home to my old home, it only took me about an hour and it was a lovely day and i also saved about $8 in tram fares. These are a couple of pics i took on the way.
So there is the really cool bar on the roof of a building on swanston street...........DeRRR well it is there and i am happy to take anyone there who wants to go there of course this is a spring summer offer as in the middle of winter i reckon it would suck pretty badly. They also have rooftop cinema there which i fully intend on heading too.
These are a couple of shots from the view i had of the big screen in federation square for the AFL grandfinal. Had a pretty cool day, would have been cool if my team had of been there but the best team won on the day.
So there is a dude that sits on the corner or Johnston and Brunswicks Streets in Fitzroy and belts out amazing drum solo's. He even did a request for cow bells....
So i headed down to ACCA (Australian centre of contemporary art) to check out the Jamie Lambie show how is the lead singer of teenage fanclub, it was awesome, he had taken gaffa tape an taped up the entire floor in the gallery huge amount of colour not to mention it would have taken fucken ages to do. What sucked is that they have now ripped it up from the floor.
this is my back yard, it's got big tree's and a lovely bbq under the car port dealy in the back corner. This is my bedroom, pic doesn't do it justice as it is a lot cleaner now then when the pic was taken. Front door and porch.
So on Friday i hit Brunswick and Sydney Rd to be exact to see the gallery that stocks Greg's Edtn magazine and was pleasantly surprised to find this awesome space, representing local artists in heaps of different styles. Even attend my first show there which was great. Meet some awesome people and can't wait to head there for more up shows in the future.
